Lives Are Changing
Bella’s story:
“Before camp, I was questioning my worth, making bad choices, and spending time with the wrong crowd. When I went to FCA Competitors Camp, I thought I’d have to pretend to fit in — but from the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. Everyone was kind and genuine. At chapel, I felt the presence of Jesus like never before. I surrendered my life to Him and left camp feeling reborn. Now, I’m free of worry and striving to be the light in someone else’s life.”
Grace’s story:
“FCA became my anchor during a really difficult season. I had lost who I was and where I belonged, but FCA reminded me that my identity is found in Christ. The community, the prayers, the people — it gave me hope and a foundation. I even started writing prayers and devotions, something I never thought I’d do. The Lord used my pain and gave me a voice to encourage others, and that’s something I’ll carry with me forever.”
Connor's story:
“I’m not the loudest leader, but I try to lead by example. Being in FCA taught me that you don’t have to be the most outgoing person to make an impact. I just showed up, prayed, and led when asked. Over time, people started following — asking questions about faith and opening up about struggles. FCA gave me the foundation to live with integrity and courage, even when no one’s watching.”
Each of these stories points to the same truth — when the Gospel meets everyday life, everything changes.
Behind the Camp
At the 2025 Battlefield FCA Power Camp, young athletes discovered that true power doesn’t come from strength alone — it comes from surrender. Through competition, coaching, and Christ-centered huddles, this week reminded every camper that victory starts in the heart.

Our growing team serves coaches, athletes, and families across Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, King George, Fredericksburg, Fauquier, Culpeper, and Rappahannock counties — as well as the University of Mary Washington. Eleven school districts.
