Kerry O'Neill is the FCA Director for the Battlefield Area.  Originally from Denison, Iowa, Kerry played basketball at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has also played internationally in 11 different countries in Europe, Latin America, and Africa, including 2 professional seasons in South Africa, where he made the professional league All-Star team. Kerry spent 8 seasons as Chaplain to the NBA Houston Rockets including their '94 and '95 back to back World Championships. He has served on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 25 years in Texas, Nebraska, and Virginia, where he makes his home with his wife, Barbara, and their two children: Spencer, who attends Yale University and is a high jumper on the Bulldog Track team and Abigail, who is attending Virginia Commonwealth University.

Kerry was honored as a Top 10 Finalist for the 2015 John C. Maxwell Leadership Award and is a frequent speaker at sports banquets, retreats, conferences, churches and youth groups. Kerry is also a Certified Presenter for 3Dimensional Coaching and has a passion for equipping coaches to connect with their athletes to reach their full potential.

Openings

Area Director: The Area Director will prayerfully create and sustain the plan to grow the FCA ministry in the assigned geography through Board, Donor and Staff development. The Area Director is responsible for working with staff and volunteers to fund and manage the finances of the ministry. As the spiritual leader, guided by God and devoted to Jesus Christ, the Area Director models the FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in dealing with staff, volunteers, athletes and coaches. Apply here.

Area Representative: The Area Representative, in collaboration with the local Area Director and Leadership Board, will prayerfully create and sustain the plan to grow the FCA ministry to and through coaches in the assigned area. The Area Representative is responsible for working with staff, volunteers and a team of advisors to fund and manage the finances of the ministry. As a spiritual leader, guided by God and devoted to Jesus Christ, the Area Representative will model the FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in dealing with staff, volunteers, athletes and coaches. Apply Here.

Administrative Assistant: The Administrative Assistant performs administrative and clerical duties for the FCA field office; maintains computer updates; office file organization and retrieval systems; interfaces with ministry partners, vendors and FCA staff by email and telephone; maintains calendars, makes appointments and travel arrangements for assigned staff; prepares monthly expense reports; maintains documentation for local FCA checking account. Provides planning, coordination and support for FCA events in assigned area. Apply here
