Kerry O'Neill is the FCA Director for the Battlefield Area. Originally from Denison, Iowa, Kerry played basketball at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has also played internationally in 11 different countries in Europe, Latin America, and Africa, including 2 professional seasons in South Africa, where he made the professional league All-Star team. Kerry spent 8 seasons as Chaplain to the NBA Houston Rockets including their '94 and '95 back to back World Championships. He has served on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 25 years in Texas, Nebraska, and Virginia, where he makes his home with his wife, Barbara, and their two children: Spencer, who attend Yale University and is a high jumper on the Bulldog Track team and Abigail who is a senior at Massaponax High School.
Kerry was honored as a Top 10 Finalist for the 2015 John C. Maxwell Leadership Award. He enjoys public speaking and is available to speak at sports banquets, retreats, conferences, churches and youth groups. Kerry is also a Certified Presenter for 3Dimensional Coaching and has a passion for equipping coaches to connect with their athletes to reach their full potential.
